Smart Credit Cards

The thing with getting that credit card quick is that most times, people get it without making sure they were ready for it. And the credit card companies would just LOVE to give these cards to college students, and new graduates despite having a bad credit score. After all, at 18 to 25, how many would know how to be responsible enough to live within their means? (How many even know what THAT means?) Just because 18 is the “legal” age of majority doesn’t mean that they are mature. They do however make easy targets. That’s another good thing that this article tells us, credit card companies are not giving people credit cards out of the goodness of their hearts, they don’t work for charities, do they? This is a business, and a pretty big one.
Maybe if more people wrote articles like these and informed more young people about the responsibilities that go with getting a credit card, there would be less people going through credit repair and paying for debts twenty years after the fact. Getting a credit card is something that will impact the rest of a person’s life, and the sooner that he is aware of it, the better.
